Great race. Haven't had the chance to see the inaugural Moto2 race yet, but that will happen some time this week. Hope to see lots of American (Texan?) presence on the podium.

I saw the Moto2 race, what is this race class? None of the riders names sounded familiar.

I finally watched the Moto2 last night. This is a 600cc class with a spec engine, currently supplied by Honda, meant to replace the 250GP class. It was quite a dogfight to the end, and the size of the class was surprising to me! MotoGP had 17 riders, I think. Moto2 started 41 on the line!

Some of the riders are from the 125's, 250's and a couple from MotoGP. I don't know who the teams are. I recognized Bimota, but other than that...

I'll be watching the next one.

Very exiciting stuff all around. It was really cool to see Spies hang with the front runners coming from mid pack at start. It'll be interesting to see the next races at the tracks he's not been to. Bad weekend for Stoner but man he's fast.

BTW: If ya'll didn't know - Austin will be at the Jerez race - He'll have a 40 sf Texas Flag hanging over the fence so look for him!

Has anyone seen this past weekend's MotoGP race from Jerez, Spain on TV? I cannot find the big bikes race, with Rossi-Stoner-et all, on TV. The only ones I saw were Moto2 and 125cc.

I have noticed the GP on at 7am Sunday morning and also on Tuesdays.

Not sure what the deal is, but Speed is always finding new ways to evolve itself into the NASCAR channel.

I know it is not cheap at $120 US but you can get a subscription to MotoGP.com. It has been showing live free practices for all classes as well as all the qualifying practices and the races, and the coverage is much longer and more robust than on Speed (interviews, pit walks, etc), and you get archives of OLD races so you can make a feast out of it if you want.

I'm just sayin'....
